A Tamworth church is hoping to ease the burden on struggling families, by shouting drivers to free petrol this weekend.
NorthWest Church is giving away $2,000 in free fuel to drivers on Saturday.
Organiser Bron Bonnell says petrol is one bill that’s hard to avoid in rural areas, so the church wanted to help people get through their week a little easier.
$20 worth of fuel will be given to the first 100 cars that visit Goonoo Goonoo Road’s BP Stop ‘n’ Go from 9am.
