USU TO MEET WITH TAMWORTH ESSENTIAL ENERGY WORKERS
The United Services Union has added its weight to the Essential Energy jobs debate, meeting with employees to advise them on work health and safety laws.
40 North West workers were told they were no longer required last month, before the Fair Work Commission ordered they be found work in the company.
It’s left those in the firing line confused, and alleging Essential Energy has banned them from meetings and isolated them from operational staff.
The USU workshop is expected to arrive in Tamworth on Wednesday.
