A woman charged over the stabbing death of her elderly mother at Redhead last weekend will face court later this year.
36-year-old Keren Parnell is accused of murdering her 73-year-old mother Gail on Saturday night.
During a court hearing in Newcastle today, the case was adjourned until December 9, pending an application for a forensic procedure.
