TAFE STUDENTS HELP SLIM DUSTY FOUNDATION
Port Macquarie TAFE students have been putting theory into practice, as they help prepare for the upcoming Slim Dusty Country Music Festival.
Students followed a brief to design promotional bill-boards and signage for the event, which starts on Monday.
“I was able to get some real-life experience working on a project I would work on in the real world with clients later on perhaps,” Design Student Melissa Streater said.
Meanwhile, Kempsey’s multi-million-dollar Slim Dusty Centre is due to open its doors on Saturday.
