HUNTER MOTHER ACCUSED OF POISONING DAUGHTER FACES COURT
A Hunter Valley mother, accused of poisoning her nine-year-old daughter, faced court in Newcastle this morning.
The woman, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, was flanked by family and friends as she left the courthouse, after having her bail continued.
The 42-year-old was arrested in July, and accused of injecting her daughter with urine, after the girl was admitted to hospital with life-threatening renal failure.
She’s since recovered.
The woman’s lawyer did not enter a plea, and the case was adjourned until December.
