Uralla will take another step towards becoming Australia’s first renewable energy self-sufficient town tomorrow, with the release of the Zero Net Energy Town Blueprint.
The plan is expected to reduce the community’s power consumption by up to 70 per cent.
A year in the making, Mayor Michael Pearce will discuss the project with Environment Minister Mark Speakman, before the public is encouraged to have its say.
