A decision on Rally Australia’s bid to have the event staged in November instead of September on the Coffs Coast next year has been delayed.
The proposal has been complicated by a plan for China to be included among the nations hosting rounds of the World Rally Championships.
Rally Australia officials have been lobbying to host the final round over four days from November 17 next year.
FIA, the motorsport’s governing body, is expected to make a decision in the next few weeks.
