National Party Deputy Leader Barnaby Joyce has denied claims, that he’s planning on challenging Warren Truss for the leadership.
The federal member for New England says while he WOULD eventually like to take on the top job, he’s not pressuring Mr Truss to step down.
“I will always be loyal to the leader because that’s what a Deputy does, and I’m the Deputy, so I’m being loyal to the leader, at some point in time in the future if Warren decides to retire, of course I’ll throw my hat in the ring.”
