Three men will face Coffs Harbour Court today, after they allegedly shot at a 67-year-old man, near a rural property north west of Kempsey.
During the incident, yesterday afternoon, it’s alleged three men entered a home on Bakers Creek Road at Bakers Creek, with a sawn-off shot gun.
The man was able to fight off the trio before locking the door and leaving the property.
It’s alleged the attackers then shot at the house before stealing a number of items.
The older man then followed the men’s car towards Kempsey, before another blast was allegedly fired towards his vehicle.
The trio was arrested a short time later and charged with a number of offences, including aggravated break and enter and possessing a prohibited weapon.
