Mid-North Coast motorists are being reminded to be on the lookout for koalas, as they enter breeding season.
The warning comes during Save the Koala month, which aims to raise awareness of the animal’s plight.
Koalas are most likely to be hit by cars between September and March, as they move along the ground in search of mates.
