A man has been arrested following two assaults in Tamworth over the weekend.
Just after 11pm on Saturday an 18-year-old woman was walking along Kable Avenue, when it’s alleged she was indecently assaulted by a man on a bike.
In the second incident a 22-year-old woman was walking through Bicentennial Park at around 2am on Sunday, when she was grabbed from behind, forced to the ground and sexually assaulted.
At around 1.30 today a 29-year-old man was arrested at a home in Crown Street, he’s assisting police with their inquiries.
