COUNCIL CALLS ON ENVIRONMENT MINISTER TO DEAL WITH BATS
Tamworth’s bat problem is a growing one, and council has now called on the state Environment Minister Mark Speakman to visit the city and see the colony for himself.

Although they’re a protected species, Mayor Col Murray says it’s become a matter of urgency and they need to be moved on.
