A 23-year-old woman is in a critical condition in John Hunter Hospital after a collision at Toronto.
Just after seven last night, a 37-year-old man was driving a ute along Cary Street, and attempted to make a right turn.
The woman was riding a scooter in the opposite direction, and the vehicles collided.
The man was arrested and charged with several offences, including mid-range drink driving and possessing a prohibited drug.
