One of the sailors whose body was found on Stockton Beach on Friday has been identified as Melbourne artist, Piers Bateman.
The 67-year-old, who was an internationally-recognised landscape painter, was onboard a yacht that went missing after leaving Broken Bay on Thursday afternoon.
The other victim is yet to be identified.
