Emergency department waiting times at Lismore Base Hospital are on the rise, according to new Bureau of Health Information statistics.
During the April-June quarter, 66 per cent of patients waited for more than four hours – that’s seven per cent higher than the state average.
However, it isn’t all bad news for the North Coast.
Casino and District Memorial Hospital released 94 per cent of its patients within four hours, recording one of the best turnovers in the state.
