SEWER OVERFLOW AT THE ENTRANCE CHANNEL

Beachgoers are being asked to avoid swimming or fishing in The Entrance channel until further notice, due to an overflowing sewer.

Warning signs have been installed at the nearby Karagi Park as crews work to contain it.

Central Coast Council stresses drinking water isn’t affected, but it has labelled the incident a public health issue.
