Competitors from Northern New South Wales and South East Queensland turned out in force to race in the Lismore Paddle Marathon, held on the Wilson River today.
A total of 60 kayaks took part, with courses ranging from 7.5 kilometres up to 22 kilometres.
The event is number seven in the Northern Marathon series, with the final race to be held on the Gold Coast next month.
