Two men have had a lucky escape, after their tinny capsized south of Port Macquarie.
It’s believed the men were fishing at around 11 o’clock this morning at Bonny Hills, when a large wave overturned their boat.
A couple, who was visiting the area from Melbourne, witnessed the incident and alerted emergency services.
By the time they returned to the beach, the men had made their way to shore.
One was taken to Port Macquarie Base Hospital with a suspected fractured leg, while the other escaped with minor injuries.
