A man is accused of running across roofs and jumping into a swimming pool to escape police, following an alleged break-in near Newcastle.
Jason Flaus was refused bail in court today, after allegedly storming a home at Adamstown Heights, armed with a hook, and threatening three people inside.
The 26-year-old is facing a string of charges, including assault and drug possession.
