A 34-year-old man is recovering in John Hunter Hospital after being stabbed in the chest at Hamilton South last night.
Police were called to Fowler Street just before eight o’clock, amid reports of a brawl.
They discovered a man suffering a stab wound, and arrested a 25-year-old male a short time later.
The 25-year-old’s been charged with reckless wounding and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
