Wyong Hospital has launched an investigation, following a health scare yesterday afternoon.
16 people were relocated to another part of the hospital after reporting a strong odour and complaining of headaches and nausea.
HAZMAT crew arrived on scene a short time later, but were unable to detect any substances.
The odour was emitting from a newly constructed roof space, the area has since been isolated.
