Berkeley Vale’s Sanitarium factory will undergo a $50-million overhaul, as the company consolidates its Cooranbong site.
The manufacturer made the announcement to move their operations to the newer Central Coast facility yesterday, making 185 employees redundant by the end of 2018.
It’ll be business as usual at both sites for the next 12 months.
Construction of new production lines at the Berkeley Vale factory will begin in the next two years and once up and running an extra 20 jobs will be available.
