SEVEN MILE BEACH CLOSED AFTER SHARK SIGHTING

Seven Mile Beach at Lennox Head was closed just after 11 this morning after aerial patrols spotted a large shark swimming 50-metres off shore. Not everyone heeded the warning, with several surfers spotted within metres of where the shark was sighted. The beach reopened at 1.30pm.
