A couple was threatened with a screwdriver during a home invasion at Cooks Hill.
At around 3am, a man forced his way through the front door of a home in Tooke Street, demanding the 75-year-old man and his 68-year-old wife hand over their wallets.
The intruder grabbed a mobile phone and wallet from the couple’s bedroom before fleeing.
He’s described as being of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander appearance, between 20 and 30 years of age, with a thin build.
