WEATHER WITH GAV: FIRE AND ICE

From bushfires in the Blue Mountains to snow at sea level in Tasmania.

Tocal in the Hunter and Norah Head on the Central coast recorded their warmest start this early in the season in 45 years yesterday.

It was cooler today and it is going to be much colder tomorrow as the latest blast of polar air moves in.

There is the chance that some shower activity will skim in along the coast.

There is only one chance of seeing some of the wet weather reach the coast and that is tomorrow before the westerly winds dominate pushing everything offshore for the rest of the week.
