REPTILE PARK LAUNCHES ‘ZOO AND SNOOZE’ SLEEP-OUT

The countdown has started for Friday’s Zoo and Snooze event, with the corporate sleep-out launched today at the Reptile Park.

70 business executives will sleep out in the park with nothing but a sleeping bag.

“We will be sleeping with one eye open, I’ve done it before and you know, there’s wombats and kangaroos and emus and all kinds of wildlife wandering around. I don’t particularly want to get pecked in my sleep, but we’ll see how we go.”

Sleepers must raise at least $1,000 to get involved.

Celebrity cook Julie Goodwin will be catering the event, as well as taking part.

“The easy thing to do would be to say ‘OK i’m going to sleep in my own bed tonight but that’s not an option for the homeless so we’ve all got to have a cup of concrete and harden up and do what we came to do.”
