Almost a thousand pint sized football fanatics have put their skills to the test at Alstonville’s annual carnival today. 126 teams from Queensland to Grafton packed Geoff Watt fields for the initiative, which is aimed at boosting the sport’s profile among young people. It’s the 35th consecutive year the carnival has been held.
