STATE GOVERNMENT WANTS TO BRING WORLD-CLASS SPORTING EVENTS TO TAMWORTH

It’s already been dubbed a regional sporting hotspot, and now, the state government is pushing for Tamworth to be able to host world-class events.

Scully Park has the capacity to host big games and a new sporting complex is on the way, making the city is a strong contender.

It’s part of a push to bring high quality sporting matches out of the city and into the country.

“There’s a number of regional centres that are capable of hosting those premium broadcast quality matches that can be beamed not only nationally, but internationally.”
