FUTURE OF OLD CROWDY HEAD SCHOOL UP FOR DISCUSSION
A meeting between Surfing New South Wales and and the Deputy Premier planned for next week could see a decision about the future of the Crowdy Head School move one step closer.
It was closed at the end of last year and since then has been earmarked as a possible site for surfing programs.
The proposal has been well supported by local residents.
“From my understanding wherever you put a surf community the economy is increased because they use facilities like camping and you know the big four,”resident Ian Sandercoe said.
