MORE GOLD FOR MADDISON ELLIOTT IN GLASGOW

Hunter swimming sensation Maddison Elliott has won a fourth gold medal at the IPC World Championships in Glasgow, blitzing the field in the 50-metre freestyle S8 final.
“It’s Maddison Elliott who gets it at 30.52.”
Elliott backed that up to help Australia claim silver in the women’s 4 by 100 medley relay, to finish the event with four gold, two silver and a bronze.
Meanwhile, Taylor Corry from Port Stephens picked up her first medal of the meet, a bronze in the 100 backstroke S14 final.
Corry finished fourth, but moved onto the podium when one of her rivals was disqualified.

  1. Maddison Elliott is in the midst of a cheating controversy regarding intentional misrepresentation during classification at IPC World Championships in Glasgow. In other words, she is being investigated by the IPC for deliberately competing in a class (S8) that she is too able for.

Such a sad story and if found guilty thiose medals won’t be quite so shiny. Less we see of Miss Elliott in the news until this is investigated thoroughly the better.
