FUNDING BOOST FOR AELEC

Tamworth’s AELEC facility is set for an upgrade, with the State Government committing $10,000 for new water infrastructure.
Coming from the Regional Communities fund, the money will see more troughs installed in the stables.
The improvements are designed to ensure major livestock events stay in the north west.
“This facility was only built in 2008, and already it’s become one of our significant economic drivers of the city and the region, and it’s become an extremely important part.”
Work is expected to be complete within six weeks.
