Hunter paralympian Maddison Elliott has picked up another world title at the IPC Championships in Glasgow, this time in the 100-metre S8 backstroke.
Elliott and her American rival Jessica Long turned in second and third, but were soon battling for gold.
“The 16 year old Australian is going to take this one … gold medallist and world champion.”
Elliott finished second to Long the night before in the 400-metre freestyle, taking her tally for the meet to three gold, one silver and a bronze.
