With just seven NRL games under his belt, Newcastle’s Sione Mata’utia is set to become the youngest test player in Australian rugby league history.
The 18-year-old has been named in the Kangaroos squad, making him the least experienced player in more than half a century to earn a call-up.
Fellow Knight Beau Scott has also been selected.
The Four Nations tournament opens on October 25, which will see Australia take on New Zealand in Brisbane.
