With just over a year to go until the Rio Olympics, Lake Macquarie sailors Nathan Outteridge and Iain Jensen have been selected on the Australian team for a test event, to be held off the coast of the host city next month.
The defending gold medallists recently finished fourth at the 49er European Championships in Portugal, despite leading the event heading into the final day.
The Aussies will combine their build-up to the Rio Games with their America’s Cup commitments.
