FLAG RAISING MARKS START OF NAIDOC WEEK

The Byron Shire Council has marked the start of NAIDOC week with a flag raising ceremony at the Council Chambers. The week celebrates the important contribution Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people make to the local community. A celebration march for the Bunjalung people will be held on Thursday.
