NORTH WEST WALLABY HOPEFULS BIDING THEIR TIME
The North West’s two Wallabies hopefuls have missed out on selection for Michael Cheika’s Rugby Championship squad.
Quirindi junior Sam Carter is still in rehab, following a knee injury suffered playing for the A-C-T Brumbies in May.
While Tamworth’s Paddy Ryan will have to prove himself for Sydney University after sitting on the bench for the New South Wales Waratahs all season.
The duo’s initial non-selection won’t rule them out of contention for a World Cup spot later in the year.
