PARAGLIDING PAIR WINCHED TO SAFETY
Two paragliders had to be winched to safety on the mid north coast this afternoon, after crashing at Indian Head near Laurieton.
It’s believed one of the men got into difficulty – and the other wound up in trouble while trying to help him.
A local fisherman is understood to have alerted people nearby, who called triple zero.
The two victims – both aged 26 – were flown to Taree’s Manning Base Hospital, suffering leg injuries.
