Ratepayers in the Tamworth Regional council area will have a chance to have their say on the next budget.
Public forums, headed up by senior staff and councillors, have begun across the region.
The forums will give residents the chance to hear where council is spending its money and how it will source revenue.
Barraba’s forum got underway tonight, with meetings in Manilla, Nundle, Kootingal and Tamworth set down for throughout the week.
For the next financial year, council is forecasting a deficit budget of half-a-million dollars each year for the next two years.
