A man and two police officers are recovering after an explosion in Coffs Harbour.
Police were called to a unit of Orlando Street around 7 last night after reports a man had doused a unit in petrol.
An explosion occurred when police turned up at the unit. It’s believed the police officers were injured by shattered glass. Both were taken to Coffs Harbour Hospital.
The man, who is believed to have a history of mental illness, received burns to 25 per cent of his body and was flown to Sydney for treatment.
