DEBTS OF $21M PUTS TINKLER’S JETS INTO LIQUIDATION

A meeting of creditors today voted to put Nathan Tinkler’s Newcastle Jets company into liquidation, due to debts of $21-million.

Back in May, the former billionaire was stripped of the A-League licence by Football Federation Australia.

The liquidators, Shaw Gidley, today said the only prospect of unsecured creditors receiving any payment was if an insolvent trading claim could be pursued.
