A man is recovering with head and facial injuries after being bashed in a home invasion at Kempsey.
The man was confronted on Sunday by two men wearing masks. They gained entry by kicking in the door of his Albert Street home.
They demanded cash and struck the victim in the head with a metal pole before running from the home.
