BALLINA MEMBER PUTS PRE-ELECTION PROMISES IN THE SPOTLIGHT AHEAD OF TOMORROW’S BUDGET

Greens Member for Ballina, Tamara Smith, is calling on the Baird Government to honour its pre-election promises to the region in tomorrow’s budget.

During the 2015 election campaign, more than $45-million was promised to to fix the region’s schools and upgrade the local hospital.

Ms Smith would also like to see money allocated to a green waste program for Byron Bay.
