DORA CREEK RESIDENTS CALL FOR NEW BRIDGE

The Dora Creek Progress Association fears it’s only a matter of time before there’s a serious accident on the suburb’s main bridge.

With Roads Minister Duncan Gay set to visit the area tomorrow, the group is calling on the state government to commit to an upgrade.

  1. how about they put some focus on the other issues that need attention first, like the terrible conditions of the road particularly Newport Rd Coorumbung Rd and Gardiners Rd. Also the drainage problems including cleaning them to try and combat the amount of diasese ridden Mosquitos. The bridge should be lowest issue on the list in Dora Creek we pay high rates but yet seem to get forgotten about

Dora Creek is a great place to put income generating assets for the state such as coalmines , big power stations, railways and state significant land developments but the infrastructure to support locals seems to have been forgotton about.Maybe someone has to die in a flood or on a road or dodgy bridge before anybody takes notice! Please bring our 21st century infrastructure now Its already 2015.
