TAMWORTH HOCKEY CENTRE SET FOR STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS

After two months of preparation, Tamworth’s Under 15s boy hockey team is ready to hit the ground running at the State Championships tomorrow morning.

Holding home ground advantage, the Frogs are confident of reaching Sunday’s finals.

“We’ve got some first grade hockey players there currently playing. Toby Whitten and Calvin. So we’re pretty well spread across the park. It’ll just be how we can gel together over the weekend.”

Tamworth opens its account against Far North Coast at 9am.
