$10,000 TO ATTRACT APVMA STAFF AND FAMILIES TO ARMIDALE

Northern Tablelands MP Adam Marshall has secured a $10,000 state government grant, to help with
Armidale’s bid to become the new home of the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority.
The funding will be used to introduce the authority’s staff and their families to the region during a visit next month.
The itinerary includes a tour of the University of New England, which is where the department would be based.
The relocation would bring an additional 195 full time jobs to the area.
