The latest caravans are becoming more like homes away from home than ever before.
That’s because grey nomads and young families are staying away longer when they go travelling, according to retailers at this weekend’s Coffs Coast Caravan and Camping Show.
“Well, you’ve got the full ensuite, washing machine, fridges, you name it,air conditioners, it’s got all the luxuries of home,” said Craig Blackler from Perkins Caravans.
Also on show at the racecourse, a full range of camping and four wheel drive accessories including rope nets that allow drivers to use their wheels as winches when bogged.
