Former Newcastle lord Mayor Jeff McCloy is in the High Court in Canberra today, to challenge current laws over political donations by property developers.
Mr McCloy was found to have made banned donations to Liberal party MP’s in the lead up to the 2011 State election after an ICAC investigation.
