The Theraputic Goods Administration has ordered an urgent recall of Thermoskin Ice packs, following the near death of a three-year-old East Seaham boy two weeks ago.
Dominic Mellare was rushed to Westmead Children’s Hospital and put on dialysis, after he ate the contents of one of the packs which he mistook for an ice block..
The TGA says the packs, manufactured by United Pacific Industries contain a toxic anti-freeze chemical.
