Round 8 of the NRRRL competition has seen the Casino Cougars jump into third position on the ladder.
The Cougars downed the Turkeys in their annual Beef Week bonanza, while in other games Cudgen beat Byron, and Mullum failed against Marist.
Evans thrashed Lower Clarence, and the Mustangs narrowly beat the seagulls.
