P PLATE DRAG RACE WITH BABY IN THE BACK

Two P-platers have had their licences suspended after allegedly being caught drag racing at Lake Macquarie, one with a baby in the back of their car.
Police say a 20-year-old woman with a seven-month-old child restrained in the back, was clocked travelling at more than 160 kilometres an hour in a 90 zone.
A nearby car driven by a 29-year-old was allegedly travelling at more than 180 kilometres an hour.
The cars were detected on the Newcastle bypass at Hillsborough, and pulled over by police at Warners Bay.
